Can I recover lost data during Linux Mint Installation as Dual boot?.Now I had Linux Mint successfully Installed and lost entire data in my disk

Dear tamillinuxcommunity,
While I am installing Linux Mint in my Windows 10 laptop as Dual boot,I accidentally formatted my entire disk partitions .Now I had lost all my data in disk and Windows OS.Can I retrieve data lost in my disk?. I tried testdisk. I can’t recover data lost.

Dear mohan43u@TamilLinuxCommunity,
I successfully recovered data lost in my disk during linux mint installation on windows PC as Dual Boot using the Testdisk software. I lost some pictures but I had recovered most of important file .During this recovering process,The data lost occurred because of I copied the data scanned by testdisk into same disk.I should have used an external hard drive during recovery.Thank you Sir.
