Hi everyone,
Good afternoon!
You are probably thinking why we haven’t received any mail for this week’s weekly discussion in kanchiLUG. It will usually be sent on Friday morning around 10 AM.
So why haven’t you received anything yet?
The reason is I will be traveling this week on 30th April. So I was not sure about scheduling this week’s session.
If any of you guys are interested in conducting this weekly discussion this week (tomorrow) Kindly reply to this thread. (Other LUG co-ordinators also volunteered that they can conduct this week’s discussion) But I want some new volunteers who are not an organizer or meeting coordinator in any other LUGs.
You will be surprised how amazing this opportunity is! once you conducted one meeting.
Remember this will be a one time thing, so you only have to conduct for tomorrow. From next session onwards I will be taking back the organizing stuffs

For those who missed last week’s discussion, I said we had a suprise event in the last week’s mail

I have a new surprising activity in this week’s discussion. So don’t miss it
This is going to implement some growing change in the KanchiLUG community.
The surprise activity was to work on a community project/task while we are discussing in weekly discussion.
Last week we had a breakout room in the same link as Weekly Discussion and interested volunteers joined to work on community related projects and activities.
In last week’s activity, Myself and Dhanasekar were working on tagging 1D1C commands based on the genre they are used.
Still the usual discussion will be going on in the WeeklyDiscussion meet. This is just an additional activity

What about the moderation issues we faced last week? In my opinion, If we are not going to moderate the weekly discussion link, then it is better to use a different Jitsi link for this Activity rather than using the breakout facility available in Jitsi. Breakout only works as expected when you have moderation.
Honestly I don’t know why this happened last week. This week one day I have tested it with multiple users and it worked perfectly fine without the issues we faced last week.
There is two issues with this,
- We might need a volunteer for run each meet. let’s say If i can run the activity meet. I need a moderator for the Weekly discussion. Since we have two different meets.
If someone is interested in moderating and conducting any one of the meet 
, I can arrange this setup.
- The members are confused with even two statically fixed links for monthly and weekly discussions even If I send meeting invites with link embedded in it.
I don’t how well they will come to correct meet links in general
