வணக்கம்,

When I copying some files to an external device,after completion.I try to eject the device…it shows a buffering circle near the device. When I eject forcefully ,the data were lost.Some logs were generated.
On that time I can’t able to shutdown the system also .Instead
I need to press the power button manually.

This happens rarely even I faced this issue in both ubuntu and Debian.
Can anyone say why the problem occurs!?

Don’t unplug the device without ejecting or remove safely.

Give its time to sync completely.

Open terminal and give the command

sync

It will take sometime and sync all data to the device.

New devices will sync faster. Older devices will take time.
