TossConf2026 - Call For Community Partners

TossConf26 is a community driven conference dedicated to promoting Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), open technologies, open collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

We are inviting Linux User Groups (LUGs), FOSS communities, open-source organizations, student open-source clubs, and community driven technology groups to join us as Community Partners and help strengthen the FOSS ecosystem together.

Why Become a Community Partner?

As a Community Partner, you will:

:white_check_mark: Connect your community members with developers, contributors, maintainers, students, and industry experts
:white_check_mark: Increase visibility for your community among attendees from across Tamil Nadu and beyond
:white_check_mark: Foster collaboration between communities working in the open-source ecosystem
:white_check_mark: Encourage contributions, learning, and participation in FOSS projects

What We Expect from Community Partners

Community Partners are requested to
• Share TossConf26 announcements through their communication channels
• Promote the Call for Speakers, Call for Workshops, and conference registrations
• Encourage community members to attend, volunteer, speak, and contribute
• Support local and regional FOSS initiatives
• Participate in conference activities and networking opportunities

Who Can Apply?

We welcome Community Partner applications from organizations and groups that actively promote, contribute to, or advocate for Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), including:

• Linux User Groups (LUGs)
• Open Source Software Communities
• Open Source Foundations and Organizations
• Programming Language Communities with a strong open-source focus
• Developer Communities supporting open-source projects
• Open Source Contributor Groups
• College and University Open Source Clubs
• FOSS Student Chapters and Technical Communities
• Open Hardware and Open Technology Communities
• Community-led Meetups focused on Open Source, Linux, DevOps, Cloud Native, Security, Databases, AI/ML, and related technologies

Eligibility Criteria

Community Partners should align with the values of Free and Open Source Software, openness, collaboration, transparency, knowledge sharing, and community-driven learning. Communities whose primary activities are unrelated to FOSS may not be eligible for partnership.
